If you can... get out of the city
Go to the water, stick your feet in
Walk in the woods
Examine the unusual patterns:
-in the tree bark,
-on the rocks
-in the trails of rich colored earth
Get down low and smell the hidden flowers
Pay attention to the music:
-the waves
-the birds
-the wind through the trees
Touch the leaves, taste the air
If possible, take a child with you
Observe her response to her surroundings
Try to see what she sees, hear what she hears
Love what she loves
Sing or stay silent.
Dance or be still
Allow your senses their due
It's not just words...you will be renewed
