As I contemplate the idea of returning to writing, I am conscious of a desire to go further than I have gone and that desire brings fear and that fear brings semi-paralysis.
And then there is Haiti, and the overwhelm of the thought that nothing is more important than just getting ourselves the heck over there with as much water as we can carry on or collective backs.
And then there is my life and responsibilities and present bank account realities and prayers from my heart for the people under the rubble and the ones looking on in helpless despair.
So I try to write and I search for clarity and I find old wisdom in a backed-up file.
